Emily and Casey met in New York City in 2017, where they lived a block away from each other on the Upper East Side. They were introduced by a mutual friend at one of Emily’s infamous D1 apartment parties. Over the next few months their relationship blossomed over pints at their local bar, Dylan Murphy’s, NYC adventures with friends, and trips to HomeGoods. When the cats and plants began to slowly find their way into Casey’s bachelor pad, he knew he was a goner.
After four years of dating, Casey decided it was time to take the next step. On a trip to the Greenbrier Resort, an important and sentimental spot for Emily, Casey popped the question near the iconic Springhouse landmark. Not long after, Emily and Casey took another big step in their lives and moved to Austin (along with everyone else from New York).
