Just your typical “boy meets girl, boy dates girl, boy decides he’s not ready for a relationship so he breaks things off and waits 3 years before picking things back up, but is incredibly lucky girl is pretty cool and would never dream of giving him a hard time about it” story.

After working together at Tuscarora for five years, Matt and Angela met in June 2018, thanks to their wonderful co-workers and a shared interest in trivia. Over the next few years (after the brief attempt at dating that no one is dwelling on), they grew close, with extra bonding during the pandemic over Tiger King, presidential debates, and countless virtual trivia evenings, online games, and Netflix watch parties with friends.

In June 2021, with possibly a little encouragement, Matt decided it was time to make his move, very smoothly sweeping Angela off her feet at karaoke, and their second chance began. Now, two years (four rats and many legos) later, they are ready to celebrate their wedding and are looking forward to sharing their special day with all of you!
