Charlie and Bayleigh were introduced by mutual friends via social media pictures and text messages in 2018. Needless to say, they liked what they saw. They first met in person in a group outing, and that night ended at a local bar discussing which Chic-fil-A sauces go with each meal. That conversation alone was enough for a second date, which was to an Orioles game. Charlie tried impressing Bayleigh with dad jokes on the way up, but little did he know, they were not working in his favor. It wasn’t until they got to the game and found themselves in a VIP section with free food and beer that Bayleigh thought “okay..this could work”. Three years and many adventures fly by and in May 2021 Charlie popped the question at their favorite camping spot, Cape Charles, VA..except Charlie didn’t actually say anything. He just sat there on one knee, speechless. And anyone that knows Charlie, knows that him being speechless is unheard of. And here we are now, just a few short months away from the beginning of our best chapter yet!
