Roughly 16 years ago Luke joined a small three person help desk team supporting the corporate personnel at a company called, Altarum. He was eager to onboard and start his new role. He still remembers, to this day, meeting Brandy for the first time. The HR Generalist with the tiny voice that recruited him. He remembered her being a spunky, attractive, shorter blonde that always had her hair nicely done. It was that cute little tuft in the middle that always stood out to him. He remembered that she would be in some variety of khakis and a fluffy white blouse, but what stood out were the many bracelets and rings she always wore. Maybe it was his attraction toward her or maybe she really just had amazing posture because he swore, she appeared to float about as she’s walked about the office. Understanding and respecting where Brandy was in life Luke knew it was best to focus on work. They had all of a dozen or so conversations during his employment there and that chapter of Help Desk Luke and HR Brandy, that floating blonde with the jingly bracelets, came to an end. Or so they thought…

Luke and Brandy quickly realized how much they had in common. Not just in life, but in personality, life goals, and how being complete goofballs was a major necessity. They both believed that the world has so many adventures, large and small, awaiting for someone to jump in and take them on. Quickly growing within their hearts, they knew that theirs lives were meant to be shared, that those adventures were more in reach and would just be better shared together.
