We fell in love while discovering our mutual passion for the Redskins, live music, happy hours, cooking together, and onesie pajamas.

Nick popped the question in summer 2018 on top of Sugarloaf Mountain with friends and family close by to celebrate.

One year after Nick was the best man at Gregg’s wedding, it’s now Gregg’s turn to step up for Nick. As youngsters, Gregg and Nick used to rumble and tumble all the time. Gregg still wins but at least it’s on mats in a gym.

The middle Hurson brother, Edward is by far the most well behaved of the three!

Colm is one of Nick’s closest friends from childhood. These two are very competitive, and against Colm, the race to matrimony is the only race that Nick has ever won.

Jon and Nick have matured together into the world of adulthood—particularly where whiskey and video games are concerned.

Chris lived right up the street from Nick growing up. They would get into trouble together from long nights and longboards.

One of Nick’s closest childhood friends, as kids they could be found splashing around in puddles or watching cartoons. They’re still happy together doing the same, but it requires crossing two time zones.

Bonding over their passion for music, Dylan tries to drag Nick to every concert he attends.

Amber and Alison are sisters and they’ve been best friends since they were kids. Except when one would wear the other’s clothes without asking.

Amber and Sam have been friends for eight years – long before Amber and Nick started dating. Both marrying Hurson brothers, they have a special bond as friends and outlaws, in this family of mostly men.

Anika and Amber helped each other get through undergrad, as well as literally everything else since then. (Adulting is hard!)

When Paige started dating Michael, Amber was thrilled to get to know her. Now Amber can’t decide who she loves more. (Good thing she doesn’t have to choose!)

Amber and Michael were next door neighbors in high school and spent a lot of time together doing nothing, going on adventures, and (mostly) avoiding getting in trouble. Today, they still manage to find time to continue those pursuits.

Amber and Nick chose Amber’s cousin, Aaron, to officiate their wedding because he has been a role model to them both. Also, he’s entertaining and (we think) we can trust him to not purposefully embarrass us in front of all our friends and family.
